IGNACE

Ignace est un film français réalisé par Pierre Colombier, sorti en 1937.

Ignace Boitaclou (Fernandel), a young, somewhat naive peasant, is drafted into a regiment of dragoons. At first, he stands out for his clumsiness and lack of discipline. But thanks to his kindness and good humor, he befriends the other soldiers and quickly becomes popular. He is even promoted to the colonel's orderly, which allows him to get closer to his superior's family and seduce the maid.

However, Ignatius remains a simple and sincere man. He does not seek to take advantage of his position and remains true to his values. He eventually leaves the army, but retains fond memories of his time in the service.
